I sure do wish I knew the back-story on this one. Clearly, it’s been played and loved a ton. There’s a back split that’s been repaired, but the mojo this thing exudes is just tremendous. Same body size as the Martin OM, but rather than 1-¾” at the nut it’s 1-11/16”, and rather than 25.4” scale, 000s are 24.9”, which makes fretting and string beading easier. But like all 18 models of this vintage, the top is spruce and the back and sides are mahogany.
