Martin’s very limited edition “Pat Donahue” model … and Pat was Garrison Keillor’s guitarist on “A Prairie Home Companion” for many years. 14 frets or not, this is a real live fingerstyle machine, and an awful lot of Martin guitar for the price!

  • b&s: East Indian rosewood

  • top: Adirondack spruce

  • nut: 1-13/16”

  • bracing: 1/4” scalloped X-braces

  • deep body … Nick Lucas-y, to mix a metaphor

  • purfling: intricate, multi-colored parallelogram wood marquetry

  • neck: genuine mahogany, modified V with diamond volute

  • fingerboard: ebony, w/ snowflake position markers at the 5th fret, two slotted squares at the 7th fret, a Maltese cross at the 9th fret, and Pat Donohue's "PD" initials at the 12th fret

  • headstock: slotted with square slots and Martin pressure stamp, torch abalone inlay

  • tuners: Waverly brass with small ivoroid keys, engraved gold plates

  • bridge: ebony pyramid with wide string spacing

  • saddle: fossilized ivory

  • bridge pins, nut & endpin: bone

  • string spacing: 2-5/16”

  • interior label signed by Pat Donohue himself
