Eric Schoenberg’s “do-it-all-great” design, realized by master luthier Alan Perlman: a 000 12-fret with a cutaway. You get a pretty big body, for lots of boom, but you get that sweet 12-fret placement of the bridge near the middle of the lower bout, plus plenty of access to the upper frets via the cutaway. Good heavens! It’s the best of all possible worlds!
