Schoenberg OM-45 Deluxe 2004

$14,500.00

One of the first Schoenberg Deluxes after the transition to CA, built by Bruce Sexauer. “Our unabashed emulation of one of the most beautiful guitars in the world. Since we have one of the originals, we are able to make ours as close to the original as possible.” A faithful copy of one of the original 16. This one is out of the finest Brazilian rosewood and Adirondack spruce, and the tone is super rich, sweet big and full, with a gloriously fat singing treble.”

It’s been Plekked, and it has a Baggs Anthem installed.

Custom ordered. Built by Bruce Sexauer for Eric Schoenberg and completed in September of 2004, it was sent to its original owner in Japan and stayed there until Fall of 2021, when it found its way back to Schoenberg Guitars in Tiburon, CA.

In February of 2022 it was Plek’d and set up by Geoff Luttrell at SF/Sonoma County Guitarworks. Action was set to 70/60, and an l.r. Baggs Anthem pickup was installed at that time.

At some time in its life a small grain-crack was professionally repaired in the Brazilian Rosewood in the back, lower bout, treble side.

The guitar was taken to Bruce’s shop so he could look it over. He verified his signature under the top and said it was a spectacular instrument in excellent condition.

Comes in a new (2022) Guardian 6-latch case.
